The best beers in the South West have been revealed with the announcement of this year’s winners in the SIBA Independent Beer Awards 2022 – the UK’s leading beer competition judged by brewers, beer sommeliers and expert tasters.

Zerodegrees will now go forward in the competition with the other winning bottled and canned beers from the South West to fight it out with the best from across the UK in the National finals, taking place early next year.

After falling in love with American Pale Ale on the west coast of America back in 1999, we wanted to create the first of its kind in the UK. We selected the best British and German malts with American hops flown in from the States. British and German malts meet American hops in our Bronze winning Downtown American Pale at 4.6% ABV.

Downtown IPA was our very first brew at Zerodegrees and it’s love at first taste! Pale ales offer beer fans a balance between malt and hops, which makes it one of the most enjoyed and approachable beer styles available. The result is a balanced, easy drinking, hoppy and fruity beer.
