COOKING UP A CAREER
We’re on the lookout for a pizza mad head chef to join us at a very busy pizza restaurant and brew pub. You will run the kitchen, working alongside the GM and the owners of this family run business and you will help us look after the three things we love more than anything: our people, our food and our beer.
We love all of our customers, from the ones who have never been before to the ones who come in every week. The ones who find us through Instagram and the ones that find us whilst walking home. We need every single one of them to fall in love with the food – we want them to come back.
To do that, you’ll need to be an innovator. Our food is seasonal, fresh and though through; that’s where you come in. We want someone who can continue to perfect our core menu, as well as bring new ideas to the table.
We brew all kinds of beer on site and in site – guests can enjoy a meal and watch our brewer at work. They can also enjoy tank fresh beer, which is pumped directly to tap from the onsite brew house. Our core range of five beers are available all year round and sit alongside an ever changing seasonal range, from IPL’s to dunkels. As our head chef you’ll be helping with food matching for our menu’s, designing special dishes for beer tasting nights and maybe even using the beer in the food – beer battered calamari anyone?
We are masters, not Jacks. A refined number of dishes are cooked from fresh; pizza in wood fired ovens and mussels are cooked in site, in front of guests. We also offer an eclectic range of starters, salads and pizza puds – so you really can focus on perfection with your team.
As a small business, we’re also willing to try something new. If you have an idea for a starter, side or dessert, even a full menu concept – just shout up and we’ll get together and take a look. No idea is a bad one, especially if that idea can be wood fired and shared between friends.
You will have real, hands experience; we love to see people grow – the early parts of your career will interest us just as much as what you’re up to now. You will have worked in various positioned in various styles of kitchen and will be eager to learn new ways of working as well as being proud of your own.
And as for the now? Well, our guess is you’re running a kitchen in an independent or branded facia. You’re looking for a kitchen which gives you real variety, with a great team, fresh produce and good equipment.
