Bristol has always taken any excuse for a knees-up, one of the reasons we love it so much, and why Christmas in Bristol is a wonderful time, with parties, events, festive extravaganzas and a whole lot more happening from early November all the way through until the New Year. We’re brewing up some festive treats of our own, but more of that later – first, some of the other magical events bringing the fun Christmas party to Bristol.
The Lights at The Christmas Party Bristol
Bristol is awash with Christmas lights as always this year with the first great reveal being at Clifton Village on the 9th of November. Christmas illuminations this year happen at Cribb’s Causeway – known for their almost passionate devotion to spangles and sparkles. There’s a bonus in the celebrity switch-on stakes this year too with not just one person but the whole of 90’s girl-band All Saints on the slate to throw the switch. The big event is on 10th November and will mark the opening of the serious shopping season at Cribb’s. Next, a more relaxed and (dare we say it) old-school affair at St Nicholas’ market on 19th of November, where the hall and lanes around it are decked in illuminations and all sorts of late-night shopping and Christmas partying come to Bristol’s historic quarter. With all those lights and shopping, if you want something a bit more active for your Bristol Christmas party experience it’s off to Millennium Square for you and the ice rink which is making its annual appearance from 5th November until 3rd January. All through this time of course we’ll be bringing the Christmas party vibe to Bristol ourselves with our special menus, special seasonal brews and big-time love for seasonal entertaining.
